TEACH has the aim of improving education at the TU/e by increasing the quality of the teaching staff. TEACH supports the TU/e staff in making their education better and giving them more means and knowledge about teaching. On this website you will find some general information about the services of TEACH. The courses TEACH offers you can find at Training and Workshops.

Services
The TEACH program is offered by teaching professionals who contribute to the didactic skills of teachers in the TU/e.  The program is based on specific training modules and individual advice. The program is meant for teachers as well as for PhD students who have a teaching task.
The various services offered by TEACH liaise with the competencies that teachers generally need for teaching in universities and specifically in meeting the educational vision of the TU/e.

Customized work
Both teachers and departments can address TEACH for individual advice and customized training courses. In consultation with you, we discuss your needs and develop a track that suites your requirements. For more information about customized courses, you can contact the contact person for your department.

Training courses
Teachers can address TEACH for an extensive range of training courses in the area of education. Some of the courses that might interest you are in the area of assessment, developing courses and supervising students. Other courses are about Design-based Learning (DBL=OGO), the guiding educational concept at the TU/e. In DBL students work together in teams in design projects, an essential element of design education. All courses are in English, unless requested otherwise. University Teaching Qualification (BKO)
TU/e requires that its teachers have a University Teaching Qualification (Dutch: Basis Kwalificatie Onderwijs). If you are interested in our training or support, you can contact us. In consultation with an educational trainer, we make the optimal plan that leads to your BKO. This can be done through individual guidance or participation in the BKO training program.
