Library catalogue TU/e importfilter

Downloading and saving references

 

  • Make your selection in the TU/e library catalogue
  • In the title list mark the relevant items, then click Save selection (in Dutch: Bewaar selectie) or, if you want to download all items, click Save all (in Dutch: Bewaar alles. [During the same session you can start a new search and do the same. Marked items will be added to the list of saved items. If you are logged in, the list of saved items will be saved and available in a next session]

  • If you prefer to evaluate the titles first, click on a title to get the full record. If the title is relevant to you, click Save item (in Dutch: Bewaar item) to add that title to the list of saved items. [During the same session you can start a new search and do the same. Marked items will be added to the list of saved items. If you are logged in, the list of saved items will be saved and available in a next session]
  • Click  Saved items (... items) (in Dutch: Bewaarde items (... items) to see the list of saved items
  • Make a last selection by marking/deleting, if necessary
  • Click Output (in Dutch: Opslaan)
  • In the Export window enter your email address
  • Select export format 'Export savelist tagged (RIS)'
  • Click Select fields to include (in Dutch: Selecteer elementen voor export)
  • Select the fields you want to include
  • Click Export savelist (in Dutch: Exporteer savelist). An email will be sent to you
  • Open your mail programme and open the mail message
  • Save the content by clicking File | Save as...
  • Choose path and file name
  • Click Save

The saved text file is the one to use for importing into Reference Manager

  • Start Reference Manager
  • Open or create a database
  • Click File| Import Text File

In the 'Import Text File' window:

  • Select the Reference Manager database
  • Select Filter: RIS.cap
  • Select the downloaded text file
  • Select the reference range
  • Click Import
