How to apply for housing

The link to the application form will be sent to you by your department. To guarantee that your housing is available on arrival, you need to fill out the application form at least two months before your arrival. The form can also be filled out for you by the secretary of the department. The TU/e can not guarantee that you will be granted the accommodation of your preference.

If you prefer to arrange your housing yourself, information and tips are available here.

What happens after we have received your application?

When we receive your application for housing, we will send you an e-mail. You can change the information on the application form up to one month before your arrival by contacting the International Office (io@remove-this.tue.nl). After this date, rent will be charged as from the date of reservation, even if you arrive later.

A few weeks before your arrival date you will receive an e-mail with your new address in Eindhoven, information on your rent and deposit, on how to pay these costs, and on when and where you can collect your keys. The TU/e housing service is a blind-date arrangement, which means that you cannot view the room before hand. However, if you have any questions about the room that has been offered to you, you can contact the International Office (io@remove-this.tue.nl).
