Once the enrollment has been finalized, i.e. all forms have been handed in, the registration form has been completed and signed, and the tuition fee has been paid (or the authorization has been completed), a student card will be issued. This student card is valid for the entire time that a student studies at the TU/e. Each student will be issued with a plastic student card only once. The student card should be carried alongside the plasticized proof of enrollment. The proof of enrollment is issued each year. If there are changes to a student’s data, the student must notify STU, which will provide a new plasticized proof of enrollment after the alterations are made.

In the case of theft or loss of the student card, a new student card can be requested from STU. The replacement of a student card costs €10, as stipulated in the regulations for enrollment and termination of enrollment.

If a student wishes to deregister, both the student card and the proof of enrollment that applies to that particular year, must be handed in to STU. Deregistration will not be initiated until they have been handed in.
