New OvidSP 3.0 platform/interface launched in August 2010

All Ovid databases using the OvidSP platform/interface are available from 1 August with the new 3.0 interface. The look and feel has changed but many features remain as they were.

What is new?
The main search page has a different look.
Main functions are not changed.

Display, filter and extension of your results
To change the format in which you wish to display results, you now use the result tools. Go to "Customize Display" to alter the format. Filter options for limiting results e.g. to English-language publications and/or to recent publications may also be found under the result tools. 

Exporting citations
New options for exporting citations are now available.
Among these are Saving as Word document, and Output of References in APA and MLA style. 
Option to export directly, e.g. to Reference Manager, has remained.

Apart from options to store results on your own computer, the OvidSP interface now provides options for storing results in your own so-called "workspace". For this you must first create a "personal account". Data stored here may be used from any computer once you are logged in. The personal account may be split into several "own projects"if you wish.

In My projects you may save all useful data in several formats (txt, word, pdf etc) within this personal "workspace" and (optional) in several "projects", up to an extent of 50 MB.

Note: All these data are always at your disposal if you are logged in at TU/e.
