After decades of service to staff, students and others, the department library of Electrical Engineering was open for the last time on 29 July 2011. Its closure is a step in the process of centralising the TU/e Library, which will move to the redeveloped Metaforum building (the former W-hal) in the summer of 2012.
As from 1 August, the space where the Electrical Engineering library was located will be available as a study room. An up-to-date scientific collection in the field of Electrical Engineering will be available at the Central Library, De Hal building, and of course via the Digital Library.
