About RM | |
Produced by | Thomson Reuters |
For what purpose? | RM is a package for storage and reuse of collected documentary data. Documentary references can be stored in the database(s) so that you may use them easily and correctly when you compile a scientific article or report. RM can also compile reference lists according to various types of standards prescribed by important publishers. |
Type of database | Personal database: you import references yourself from other databases, either directly, or via a "capture" file, or by adding references "manually" (i.e.typing all data into the correct fields). Direct Internet searches may be performed for a number of databases, e.g. Web of Science. |
Focus | Import from international databases is permitted. RM is particularly useful when you are preparing publications or papers which must include reference lists, and you may have to adapt the style of these lists (e.g. from APA to Vancouver style). |
Information per reference | Adaptable, all bibliographic data including PDF files or links to PDF files may be imported. |
