The IEEE-IET Electronic Library (IEL) provides full-text access to one third of the world's current literature in electrical engineering and computer science, published by :

• Institute of Electrical and Electronics  Engineers (IEEE)
• Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), formerly the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE)

The IEL database contains over 3 million documents, including articles from both publishers' journals and conference proceedings, the IEEE standards, and over 500 books. More than 20,000 articles are added to the database each month.

The IEEE Xplore access platform provides a powerful search interface and presents bibliographic records including abstracts from a subset of the INSPEC database, and multimedia files.
