TU/e staff members and students who have accounts for Inter-library loan (IBL) at their disposal may submit requests for publications from other libraries directly. This applies for the following databases:
Copies may be ordered of each article of which the title is included in Online Contents OLC or PiCarta. Books catalogued in the Netherlands Central Catalogue (NCC) may be borrowed from other libraries.
TU/e staff members and students may open an account for inter-library loan at the Inter-library loan office (IBL), telephone: 040 247 2521, or via the Information desk TU/e Library, MetaForum building.
A sum must be pre-deposited before the account can be used. Staff members who order publications regularly are advised to deposit € 100,- . Users then receive an access number and a personal identification number (pin code). If you place a request for a book or a journal article, both numbers must be filled out on the request form. The fee has been pre-paid and is subtracted from the IBL account. As long as you have enough money on your account you can continue to request books for loan and order copies of articles.
For further information contact your department library or the Inter-library Loan Office (IBL), telephone: 040 247 2521, or via the Information desk TU/e Library, MetaForum building.
