Selective disseminiation of information (SDI) from on-line databases 
A monthly current awareness service, also known as Selective Dissemination of Information or SDI, is provided. Your department librarian / information specialist can help you compile a search profile of subjects of your interest. A monthly update of bibliographic references and abstracts matching the search profile will then be mailed to you, either in print or via e-mail.  

On-line literature research and Reference Manager 
Bibliographic references can be easily imported from STN on-line databases into a personal reference management system named Reference Manager (RM). Reference Manager organizes imported references easily and can create bibliographies (reference listings) within your word processor. The output style of bibliographic data can be formatted in virtually any journal style in addition to incorporating the appropriate reference citations into your dissertation or manuscripts.
