The procedure for application for an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) for a dissertation or other TU/e publication is as follows:

• Complete the ISBN on-line application form for a TU/e dissertation or other TU/e publication
• Central Library checks application and issues ISBN
• Central Library forwards application to ISBN office
• ISBN office confirms application
• Central Library sends ISBN to applicant via e-mail
