The Department Library of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences is one of the department libraries at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Together with the Central Library they make up the Eindhoven University of Technology Library.
The collection of the Department Library of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences is specialized in the fields of industrial engineering, management sciences and social sciences. It comprises approximately 60,000 book volumes and 200 journal subscriptions in print. Many journals are available electronically in full text via the TU/e Library's website (select option 'Journals').
The department library is open Monday to Friday from 09.00 h. to 17.00h (unless otherwise stated).

At the lending and information desk you can borrow books, ask for information and renew your printing and copy account.
There are 6 computers for public use such as consulting catalogues. In addition there is a special room for making photocopies.
Study seats
There are approximately 167 seats for study purposes in the Library. Six separate studies are available for groups of students. 64 seats are equipped as network workstations for TU/e Notebooks.
Open Shop
The Open Shop of the department is situated close to the library. Here, 20 personal computers are ready for use by students. Also, a printer is installed in the shop. Printing accounts can be renewed at the lending and information desk. Next to the Open Shop you will find the Notebook Service Centre of IE&IS(NSC-IE&IS)
Freshmen, senior students and department staff members may take various courses at the department library. These courses focus especially on the use of various electronic databases concerning the fields of industrial engineering, management sciences and innovation sciences. The department library also provides introductory courses for users of the internet and for Reference Manager (RM).
The Course Library is a software application developed by the library in collaboration with StudyWeb, the electronic learning environment of the university. The application allows teachers to compile reading lists with their StudyWeb courses. In a reading list, teachers can easily add articles, book chapters, internet sources etc. which students must read for a certain course. A manual is avialble at http://studyweb.tue.nl.
