When you have been admitted to the Netherlands as a knowledge migrant you do not need a work permit.

The university applies for a combination of visa and residence permit before your arrival in the Netherlands. This permit will be valid for the full contract period (with a maximum of 5 years).

You will need to visit the Expat Center Brabant in Eindhoven to collect your residence permit and to register with the city council. You can have a residence permit as knowledge migrant for a maximum period of 5 years. After these 5 years you can apply for another kind of residence permit (e.g. for indefinite time without limitations). You will not need a work permit.
