We recommend you to apply MVV for the whole family at the same time, if you meet all the criteria.
If you do seperate your own visa application from the application for your family members, the consequence will be that you need to wait for the application for your family until you receive your Dutch residence permit. This can take several months.
You can get a visa/residence permit for your partner even if you are not married. the partner can be of the same sex as yourself. The main criterion is that your relationship is "durable and exclusive" and you must be living at the same address.
This is possible for a short stay (3 months), or if your parents have a visa-free nationality.
The only possibility for your parents to get an MVV is when you apply for an MVV with the purpose "Family visit". In this case your parents are allowed to stay in the Netherlands for a maximum period of 6 months. Be aware of the fact that your parents will have to apply for a residence permit after arrival in the Netherlands.
