A good health is not self-evident.
Smoking and "bad" food are not the only threats to your health. Not sufficient exercise or daily repetitive movements can jeopardize your health (back problems, RSI etc.)
Regular and varied exercise can help prevent these problems.

5- Child daycare centre de Tuimelaar

The Tuimelaar is a child daycare centre for children at the age of 0 to 4 whose parents work or study at TU/e or in the neighbourhood of the TU/e-campus.

The Tuimelaar is located on TU/e grounds.

6- Hairdressing salon

In the main building (hall, floor 0) you can find the hairdressing salon "Knipsalon".

Here you can get an new haircut. But if you want to change the colour of your hair you're welcome too.

7- Personnel Association

TU/e's personnel association was founded in 1958.

What are the objectives of the personnel association?

Stimulating community spirit and solidarity amongst TU/e's personnel.
Creating possibilities for entertainment and all-round development of the interest of the members in the field of culture, technique and sports.

Who can become a member?

All TU/e employees<//font>
Alle retired TU/e employees or employees who made use of early retirement regulation<//font>
Employees of related institutions or companies who are active on and around TU/e campus, such as Fontys, ISS and Sodexho.<//font>
Furthermore partners and minor children (still living with their parents) of TU/e employees can participate in activities at member-price. This way they profit from the advantages of the membership.

9- Silence room

The TU/e "Silence room" is a facility for individual or group reflection. Students as well as employees can make use of the silence room.

10- Surfspot software

Surfspot is a system through which every student/employee can order cheap CD's in a quick way. The CD's can be ordered at SURFservices on the basis of contracts in which TU/e participates.

Every registered TU/e student/employee has or can have an NT-account; a userode/password combination that enables access to SURFSPOT.
After logging in one gets access to a digital shop of CD's and software for which TU/e has a normative agreement.
In a digital shopping trolley the desired CD's are gathered as an order.
After completing NAW (homeaddress) the order will be placed.
The order remains open for 2 weeks. Within this period payment can be done via bank-or giro transfer. For employees the purchased software has to be used for the purpose of their work at TU/e. The customer has to be able to claim his expenses at his own faculty/service.
After receipt of payment at SLIM the ordered items will be delivered by sending the items to the given address.
When payment is not received within 2 weeks the ordered will be cancelled automatically.
