The TU/e frequently organizes English spoken ‘central introduction days’. These introduction days are specially designed for the university's new international employees, and also for their spouses / partners.

Objectives
The main objectives of these introduction days are:

• to extend a welcome
• to provide useful information about the TU/e, Eindhoven, and the Netherlands
• to explore some basics of 'the' Dutch culture
• to help you and your partner get to know other TU/e expats.

Topics
During these introduction days, you and your partner will receive information and participate in workshops about:

• the university
• the city of Eindhoven
• cultural differences
• the Netherlands and the Dutch

We kindly invite you and/or your partner to participate in one of these days.

The two of you can participate together, but your partner can also participate independently, for instance if (s)he joins you later.

The TU/e central introduction days take place on Fridays, from 9 am to roughly 5 pm. 

The next editions of the introduction days for new international employees are scheduled on the following dates:

2012:

• April 20^th 
• June 15^th 
• September 7^th
• October 26^th
• December 14^th
