What can you expect from your ABP client adviser?

  • Your questions will receive expert, easy-to-understand replies; Information about the purpose of the pension summary and the basic information;
  • Information about any shortfalls - based partly on your own future plans – in statutory and additional pension provision; 
  • Information as to the options for compensating for any such shortfalls.

Prepare for the meeting 

  • Review your most recent pension summary;
  • Consider the age at which you might choose to take early retirement and/or enjoy the life-course savings scheme;
  • Try to make an estimate, based on your current situation, of your financial obligations at your retirement date. Things to consider include mortgage and rent obligations, the cost of children’s education, insurance premiums, etc.
  • Formulate in advance the questions or issues you want to discuss during your meeting, using the appointment form. 

What should you bring with you to the meeting?

  • Your most recent pension summary; 
  • Your most recent pay slip.
