In the framework of the CANS-approach the AMSO (Organisation of Labour Conditions and Environment Issues), in co-operation with the Students Sportscentre and the company doctor, has chosen an integral strategy. In this strategy attention is focused on preventing RSI, by providing information through workshops and practical courses.
The law on working conditions obligates the employer to offer all employees a workshop on RSI and computerscreen work. Participation to the workshop is also obligatory. Therefore your participation to the workshop will be registered.
(For questions about the law on working conditions you can contact the AMSO via amso@tue.nl)
For more information about RSI we refer you to the CANS-site of AMSO.
The workshop will last 1 hours and is especially meant for employees and students who work regularly and/or for extended periods behind a computerscreen. During the workshop considerable attention will be paid to the development of RSI, its causes and especially how it can be prevented. Besides the theoretical approach extensive attention will be paid to the practical issues. As workshop-participant you actively take part in the programme and you will learn to be aware of your own posture.
By means of the registration from hereunder you can register yourself for one of the workshops.
ROADSHOWS KANS/CANS: JUNE 16 2011.
