New CAO: what does it mean for you?

A new CAO (Central Labor Agreement) for the Dutch universities has been introduced from 1 February 2013. In this article we take a look what has changed, and what this means for you as a TU/e employee. The new CAO covers the period from 1 January 2011 to 1 January 2014. 30% facility also attractive for PhD students from other countries from 2013

Up to now the nationwide criteria set by the tax authorities have made it virtually impossible for international PhD students to make use of the 30% facility. But a change in these criteria now makes it easier from 2012 for PhD students to apply for the facility. TU/e has therefore decided to make the facility available for PhD students from 2013.Read more
