If you meet one of the criteria for free parking as shown below, you should follow the application procedure as described. You will then receive a TU/e parking pass. The parking pass can be used from 1 September up to and including 31 Augustus. You have to apply for a new pass every year. The Security Parkingdepartment will inform you in July to inform you about the rules for prolongation. You can download a new application form on the TU/e website. For all criteria, you must be able to show that you own a vehicle. Your TU/e parking pass is valid while you are studying at the TU/e. At the end of your study period, or in case you quit your study earlier as planned, you should hand your pass in personally to the Security Parkingdepartment. The criteria for exceptional entitlement to free parking are as follows:

Your traveling time by public transport for a single journey would take 60 minutes longer than when traveling by car. You should show that this is the case by sending print-outs of the route planners for the different forms of transport, and the corresponding traveling times, together with your application. These prints should be based on details from websites "9292ov routeplanner" and/or "9292ov-planner".

These print-outs should be based on details from websites "9292ov routeplanner" and/or "9292ov-planner".
You cannot get home on time in the evening, or to do so would involve a traveling time of 2 hours or more for a single journey by public transport.
