Parking charges and payment

The costs of parking are based on those charged in the city of Eindhoven:

  • First half-hour free, after which:
  • € 0,50 per 20 minutes;
  • € 5,00 per 24 hours (daily rate);
  • € 5,00 for a lost entry ticket.

The parking charges apply every day, 24 hours a day.

The daily rate of € 5,00 applies for a maximum period of 48 hours, after which a daily rate of € 16,00 is charged.

Where and how to pay

You can pay at one of the six payment machines using cash in coins or notes, or a ‘chipknip’ payment card. You can also use your ‘chipknip’ to open the barriers. On exit, you can pay with your ‘chipknip’ at the barrier, after which it will be opened. Three points at which you can recharge your ‘chipknip’ will be installed on the campus in the near future.

There are six payment machines at the following locations:

  • 'De Zaale’ at the North side of the main building
  • ‘De Zaale’ on the parking lane towards the Insulindelaan exit
  • ‘De Rondom’ near the TNO building
  • ‘Het Eeuwsel’ near the IPO building
  • The Auditorium parking area
  • ‘De Lismortel’ near the bicycle sheds at the ‘Paviljoen’

‘Chipknip’ recharging points are also provided at the first three of these locations

The payment machines are installed at covered locations and are under camera surveillance. If there are any problems you can contact TU/e Security directly by using the intercom.
