Home use and Campus use of SPSS is allowed for Students and Employees of Eindhoven Technical University.
Follow this link to the PASW Statistics products version support page on the SPSS Technical Support website. The table contains the versions and their corresponding end of support dates. These dates represent the last dates on which you will be able to receive technical support on specified versions.
IBM SPSS Statistics 20 is a comprehensive system for analyzing data.
SPSS can take data from almost any type of file and use them to generate tabulated reports, charts and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and complex statistical analyses.
- This version can be used on Windows XP, VISTA and Windows 7.
- License code is valid until 1 July 2012.

Installation
Install 32bit or 64bit SPSS 20.
Activate SPSS 20 either with a Site License or Network License.
Site License:
- First choose Install IBM SPSS Statistics 20.
- During installation you are offered the choice Single User License / Site License / Network License. Choose Site License
- You are invited to register. You may do that, but you don’t have to.
- Enter the authorisation code at the end of the installation. You must Choose "License my product now" and click on Next.
- If all goes well, after a little while the message “successfully processed all codes”. Click on Next (a summary is shown) and Finish to end the installation.
Site License:
- First choose Install IBM SPSS Statistics 20.
- During installation you are offered the choice Single User License / Site License / Network License. Choose Network License.
- During installation you must enter a license server. use license.tue.nl
- Continue installing SPSS. Finally, you are invited to register. You may do that, but you don’t have to.

- You are invited to register. You may do that, but you don’t have to.
- Enter the authorisation code at the end of the installation. You must Choose "License my product now" and click on Next.
- If all goes well, after a little while the message “successfully processed all codes”. Click on Next (a summary is shown) and Finish to end the installation.
Site License:
- First choose Install IBM SPSS Statistics 19
- During installation you are offered the choice Single User License / Site License / Network License. Choose Network License.
- During installation you must enter a license server. use license.tue.nl
- Continue installing SPSS. Finally, you are invited to register. You may do that, but you don’t have to.

License renewal
The current license expires on 1 July 2012. After expiration you can renew the license. The file license.txt explains how to do this (in any version of SPSS).
Installation
Install PASW 18.
Activate PASW Statistics either with a Site License or Network License.
Patch 18.02
Install the latest patch.
Site License:
- First choose Install PASW Statistics 18
- During installation you are offered the choice Single-user License / Site License / Network License. Choose Site License.
- During installation you must enter a serial number.
- At the end of the installation you must obtain a license. Click on OK here.
- License my product now and click on Next.
- After this, you must enter an authorisation code.
- If all goes well, after a little while the message “successfully processed all codes”. Click on Next and Finish to end the installation.
- Finally, you are invited to register. You may do that, but you don’t have to. You can always do it later by choosing Help | Register product inside SPSS.
Site License:
