With Net8 Client you can connect from a PC to the central TU/e Oracle databases. This client is needed for example for making an ODBC connection from Access to Oracle; it enables you to use the Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle which you get when you instal MS Access.

• To install the Net8 Client on a Windows XP, Windows 2000 or a Windows NT computer you must have administrator rights.
• After installation you must restart the computer under Windows 95 and Windows 98; this is not necessary under Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Installation

Select the installation that suits your Windows version:

Windows XP:
Install Net8 Client for Windows XP.
A manual in MS Word format is available (only in Dutch).

Windows 2000:
Install Net8 Client for Windows 2000.

Windows NT:
Install Net8 Client for Windows NT.

Windows 95 and Windows 98:
Install Net8 Client for Windows 95/98.
