Mathematica 7.0.1

Mathematica is one of the most powerful programs in the field of mathematics and symbolic algebra.

More information on this program can be found on the web site of Wolfram.

  • Mathematica version 6.0 (and higher) is vista compatible
  • There are 3 different versions of mathematica available. All of the procedures install exactly the same software. The real difference is due to the license conditions. Choose the correct version!
  • Upgrading from an older version
If you are currently using an older version of Mathematica, you are advised to first install the new version and only afterwards remove the older version (if you wish to do so). This way, Mathematica will retrieve your preferences, style sheets etc. from the previous version.
