Exceed turns your PC into a complete X Window terminal. It enables you to run Unix, Linux, VMS, or X Windows applications from your Windows system.

You can also find here two additions to Exceed: Exceed 3D, Exceed XDK and Exceed Connectivity Secure Shell.

• One part of Exceed is HostExplorer. If you already installed HostExplorer 2008, the installation program will insist on removing it before it installs Exceed.
• This version is compatible with Windows 7.

Installation

Install Exceed v14.

After installing Exceed, you may want to install the following additions:

Install Exceed 3D for Exceed v14.
This enables you to use and create three-dimensional applications. Exceed 3D supports OpenGL and GLX.

Install Exceed XDK for Exceed v14.
This is the X Development Kit; it enables you to develop X Windows applications on your PC or port them from UNIX or VMS.

Install Exceed Connectivity Secure Shell for Exceed v14.
