The Information and Service Desk is the central point within the Dienst ICT Front Office for all questions and problems regarding the services, equipment, software, networks and dial-up facilities offered by Dienst ICT.

The Information- and Servicedesk supports the employees of the Central Services of the TU/e with their ICT questions and problems. Employees departments can go to the departmental ICT office. For students the TU/e has a Notebook Service Center, both central in building de HAL and in every departmental building.

The Information and Service Desk is located in the LaPlace building, LG 1.94. The desk is open from 8.30-17.00 and can be reached by telephone from 8.30-22.30.

  • Registration and overseeing of questions/problems and defects in
    central and local systems (PC, PC-LANserver, workstations,
    peripheral equipment etc.)
  • Referral of questions/problems regarding hardware/software and
    networks to the relevant groups within Dienst ICT
  • Registering defects with third-party maintenance services
  • Status notifications regarding central computer systems
  • Processing requests regarding user codes for central systems
  • Changes to e-mail addresses
  • Questions regarding network access from home
