Leonardo da Vinci is an action programme of the European Union. By transnational co-operation the Programme aims to stimulate innovation and the improvement of quality of vocational training. 

Participating countries are the Member States of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland Italy, Latvia , Lithunia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.
           
Perspectives of the Programme are:

  • The individual and personal competences
  • The vocational training in relation with business community
  • The employability of people in Europe

 

The Programme focuses on:

  • Lifelong Learning
  • New ways of using ICT
  • Participation of SME’s
  • Prevention of exclusion and stimulation of equal opportunities (including gender)
