The TU/e Art Committee

Grafisch Atelier Daglicht is a general and technical service for visual artists and is established in "Het Meulensteen Art Centre" here in the grounds of the Technische Universiteit. The objective of the GAD is to provide professional artists with the opportunity by means of graphic techniques to make new discoveries. It also organizes a wide range of activities in the field of graphic arts, such as workshops for students and employees of the TU/e, students from art academies and pupils of the CKV. Apart from this, the following activities take place:

Support of individual artists;

Teaching courses mainly in the techniques of planography (litho), intaglio (etching) and stenciling (serigraph);

Organizing workshops and exhibitions/presentations;

Provide space and support for experiments in the graphic field

Service education;

Publishing bibliophilic booklets under the name of "Isthmus", which have arisen from a joint venture between Grafisch Atelier Daglicht and Galerie Peninsula in Eindhoven;

Taking care of publications on the occasion of projects and/or workshops.
