The Wainwright 1985

Location: Automotive, W-Hoog.

This sculpture is a gift from the Board of Management of DAF. It was given to the TU/e on the occasion of its 30^th anniversary and was presented during the Foundation Day celebration of that jubilee year, 1986.

De Leur was employed by DAF from 1958 to 1979 as organizer and designer of exhibitions. He also made sculptures of junk material and most of his subjects related to everyday life.
