On Monday, January 9, TU/e will usher in the New Year with a fireworks show from the top of the New Meta Forum. During the New Year’s meeting the luster year will be concluded in and around the Hoofdgebouw, and there will be a toast to the highest point of the renovated W-hal.Read more

Ir. Trees Klaver (1962), currently head of the department of Health, Environment, Safety and Radiation Protection (AMVS), will be the new chairwoman of the University Council in four months. She’ll succeed ir. Rinus van Weert, initially for a period of two years.

Six students of Built Environment have won the 2011 WoodChallenge. With their design for a cabin, they won the contest for which students were asked to submit their own wooden creations. First, the judging panel scored 24 projects, and yesterday they scored the remaining five nominees.
